I have always loved hiking and enjoying a beer at the summit and I realized I was not alone in this! I decided that it would be a really neat way to bring people together by celebrating a dedicated day where people could do just that! I created the international holiday Summit Beer Day est. May 2021 and the turn out was remarkable.
We had over 200+ participants that were from THREE continents - we even had someone participate in Iceland - just such an awesome event.
The biggest take away from the event, was that everybody wanted it to come back again!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE
Simple - grab a beverage of choice, in this case if you like beer, grab a beer! And Get Outside. Easy as that! There are so many incredible craft breweries out there - be sure to support local businesses by grabbing a 4 pack of their signature IPAs or stopping by their taproom after your hike with you pals for a pale ale.
There is no requirement on how to participate other than to get out and have fun. Grab your beer, grab your hiking boots and grab your friends because May 18, 2024 - we drink!
Join the after party at the taproom at Northway Brewery (Queensbury, NY) from 12- 5 pm for live music, food trucks and Summit Beer Day fun! I hope to see you there!
